Finance Operations Specialist

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Operations Specialist to join our finance team and support day-to-day financial operations across the company.

This is not a pure accountant role, but rather a hands-on finance operations position for someone with a solid background in accounting, finance, or business economics who is comfortable working with numbers, structured processes, reconciliations, reporting, and recurring financial tasks.

In this role, you will work closely with the CFO and collaborate with the broader finance team on a range of operational finance responsibilities, with a strong focus on the expenses side, accounting operations, reconciliations, budgeting support, and financial reporting.
 

What you will be doing

• work with vendors and partners on invoices, reconciliations, and contracting
• maintain accounting records and reconciliations across entities
• manage accounting operations with a primary focus on the expense side
• manage the month-end close process and help prepare timely management accounts
• coordinate and support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and report variances
• prepare reports on costing per product and per client
• support the team with bonus calculations
• ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• work extensively with Excel and financial data
• collaborate closely with the CFO and finance team on daily financial operations
   

What we are looking for

• previous experience in a finance operations, financial manager, finance specialist, accounting, or similar role
• experience working with month-end reconciliations, quarterly accounts, budgets, and KPIs
• advanced experience with accounting systems, treasury systems, and budgets
• solid practical background in finance, accounting, or business economics
• strong attention to detail and a careful, structured way of working
• ability to handle routine financial processes accurately and independently
• confidence working with spreadsheets, reporting, and financial data
• comfort working in a fast-moving environment with a small, hands-on team
   

Nice to have

• experience in Web3 / crypto environments
• experience with accounting or finance systems
• stronger-than-average technical skills for a finance profile
• experience working with databases, structured datasets, or more advanced spreadsheet logic
• knowledge of local GAAP and understanding of tax law
• proficiency in English and Excel
• familiarity with on-chain tokens and smart contracts
