Systems Engineer (Microsoft Cloud Solutions)

We are looking for a Systems Engineer with hands-on experience in Microsoft Cloud Solutions and a strong interest in further developing expertise in this area.

Key stack:

• Cloud Solutions: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365.
• Server products: Windows Server, SQL Server.
• Automation: programming in PowerShell.

Key tasks

External/client tasks:

• Participating in projects of implementation, configuration, upgrades of Microsoft cloud services and server software – developing and implementing solutions in accordance with clients' business needs and the functionality of Microsoft solutions. The main geography of clients is Ukraine and the EU.
• Participating in meetings with clients, presenting and discussing solution options.
• Maintaining and supporting client infrastructure.
• Participating in writing project documentation and technical specifications.

Internal support (in different periods it takes from 30 to 50% of the time):

• Maintaining the internal IT infrastructure.
• Implementing technical solutions based on security best practice; supporting and maintaining compliance with ISO 27001.
• Conducting IT onboarding and offboarding of colleagues, including preparation of office equipment.

Training and certification: with us, you'll learn the latest versions of Microsoft cloud services and get the correspondent international certification.

Qualification:

• At least 2 years of experience at an engineering position – Systems Engineer, Data Engineer, System Administrator, etc.
• Experience with Microsoft on-premises and hybrid infrastructure: Windows Server, Active Directory DS, Exchange Server, IIS, RDS, GPO, SQL Server.
• Experience in administering Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure (SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Teams, Microsoft Defender, Intune, Azure VM services, Azure VPN, Azure AD Connect, etc.).
• PowerShell programming skills.
• Understanding of basic information network technologies: DNS, DHCP, VPN, IP stack.
• Experience in ensuring the security of IT infrastructure.
• Experience in automating administrative tasks.
• Ability to process and close technical requests from users.
• Experience in writing technical documentation.
• English: Intermediate / B1 or higher, including spoken; fluency in Ukrainian.
• University degree (technical or IT).
• Experience or understanding of the basics of Power Automate and Azure Automation.
• Python and/or JS programming skills.
• Microsoft certificates.
