Automation Support Representative

Role Overview

The Automation Support Representative is responsible for helping partners and customers successfully deploy and operate AI voice agents on the RingLogix platform.
 

This role sits at the intersection of technical support, automation engineering, and AI prompt design. You will assist partners during onboarding, gather requirements for voice AI use cases, help design prompts and call flows, and build integrations using APIs and no-code automation tools.
 

The ideal candidate enjoys solving real business problems with automation and has experience working with prompts, APIs, webhooks, and workflow automation tools.

 

Key Responsibilities

Partner & Customer Onboarding

  • Assist new partners and customers with onboarding to the AI voice agent platform
  • Guide partners through the process of defining voice AI use cases and requirements
  • Help gather and structure customer information needed to design agents and workflows
  • Provide technical guidance on best practices for voice AI deployments

AI Agent Creation & Support

  • Design and refine prompts for AI voice agents
  • Help configure agent behavior including conversation flows, escalation rules, and integrations
  • Test and validate agents prior to deployment
  • Troubleshoot issues related to AI agent behavior or integrations

Automation & Integration

  • Build and support automation workflows using tools such as:
    • Zapier
    • Make.com
    • n8n
  • Configure webhooks and API integrations between the AI agents and customer systems
  • Assist partners in connecting agents to CRMs, ticketing systems, and internal tools

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose issues related to automation workflows, APIs, and integrations
  • Work closely with engineering teams to resolve complex issues
  • Document solutions and best practices to improve internal knowledge resources

Internal Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Partner Success teams
  • Provide feedback from partners to improve the platform and tools
  • Help develop templates, prompts, and deployment guides for common use cases

 

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Experience

  • Experience building automations using no-code or low-code platforms such as:
    • Zapier
    • Make.com
    • n8n
  • Experience working with APIs and webhooks
  • Familiarity with JSON, REST APIs, and API authentication methods
  • Demonstrable experience with prompt engineering for AI systems

AI & Automation Experience

  • Experience building AI assistants, chatbots, or voice agents
  • Understanding of conversational design and prompt structure
  • Experience connecting AI systems to external tools or knowledge sources

Problem Solving

  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into automation workflows
  • Comfortable working with technical documentation and APIs

Communication

  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to partners and customers
  • Comfortable gathering requirements and guiding users through implementation

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with voice AI or conversational AI platforms
  • Experience integrating systems such as:
    • CRM platforms
    • Helpdesk systems
    • Scheduling systems
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools
  • Familiarity with vector databases or knowledge retrieval systems
  • Experience working with MSPs, telecom providers, or SaaS platforms
