Junior / Trainee Game Artist
About the role:
We are looking for a Trainee Game Artist who wants to grow in commercial game art and work on stylized visual assets for game projects.
This role is a good fit for someone with a solid artistic base, strong motivation, and a desire to develop in creating symbols, themed objects, decorative elements, and polished in-game visuals under the guidance of a senior team.
We are open to candidates with limited commercial experience if they have a good eye, can follow art direction, and are ready to learn fast.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating 2D visual assets for game projects
- Work on symbols, themed elements, icons, and supporting art
- Adapt assets to the project’s visual style and creative direction
- Prepare clean source files and production-ready materials
- Make revisions based on feedback from the team
- Support the team with research, references, and variations of visual concepts
- Help maintain visual consistency across the project
Requirements:
- Basic portfolio in illustration, graphic design, or game art
- Understanding of composition, color, shape, and visual clarity
- Good command of Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools
- Ability to work with references and follow a defined art style
- Attention to detail and willingness to improve quickly
- Strong motivation to grow in game art production
Nice to have:
- Interest in stylized, decorative, and highly readable game art
- Understanding of how visual assets should look in real gameplay
- Experience with layered files and preparing assets for animation
- Passion for games and visual storytelling
