IoT Project Manager

Necessary skills and qualifications:
3+ years of experience in the IT industry with at least 2 years of experience as a Project Manager
Experience with the full embedded and IoT project lifecycle (from idea and prototyping to design validation phase and functional HW/SW delivery)
Strong planning skills, including dependency and risk management, using a defined set of documentation and tools
Ability to monitor and control project execution, manage scope changes, and ensure timely, on-budget delivery
Experience in creating and maintaining project documentation
In-depth knowledge of the Waterfall framework, critical path, and general knowledge of V-model, Kanban, and Scrum
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Upper-intermediate English is a must
Experience in pre-sales, requirements management, and effort estimation techniques
Will be a plus:
Technical background (working in Electrical/Mechanical/Firmware Engineering, Embedded Development, Embedded QA)
Technical education (Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar)
Knowledge and/or experience with industry-specific processes (e.g., consumer electronics, machinery, automotive)
Familiarity with Electrical Engineering processes and PCB Design
Experience with Embedded MCU and/or Embedded Linux development processes, platforms, and communication protocols
Responsibilities:
Overseeing several projects simultaneously
Managing Discovery Phase and Estimation activities
Defining and controlling project scope, budget, timeline, risks, resources, and quality during SDLC
Managing customer expectations and preparing well-structured emails, meeting minutes, and weekly reports
Handling project documentation and tracking customer satisfaction to drive business growth
Identifying and reporting potential issues and risks to Customer, Business Development Manager, Delivery Director; preparing Mitigation Plans
Coordinating staffing with Business Development Manager and Resource Manager
