Magento Developer

QA Madness is a European IT service company focusing strongly on QA and cybersecurity. The company was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Poland.

Currently, we are searching for an experienced Magento Developer to work in an existing team developing new features for an eCommerce Magento-based project.
This position requires working in the US time zone.

Must have good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities:

— Plan, Develop, Test and Document advanced eСommerce solutions;

— Develop customer-specific and generic Magento modules;

— Develop integrations between Magento and different 3rd Party systems;

— Improve our CI/CD platform which supports a large number of clients;

— Regularly attend internal training courses to maintain required skillset;

— Develop solid solutions that are generic and reusable.

Experience:Apache, HAProxy, Varnish, Redis, Ubuntu Server

— Experienced in the full software development cycle, from planning to deployment;

— Hands-on Magento 2 experience;

— Experienced in the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache/Nginx, MySQL, PHP8);

— Experienced in OOP, knowledge of design patterns;

— Experience in the Web Server stack is highly beneficial: Apache, HAProxy, Varnish, Redis, Ubuntu Server;

— Flexibility to adjust to new processes;

— Capable of estimating/forecasting time to complete specified project tasks;

— Experience working with SSR and modern frontend frameworks like React, Next.js;

— Upper-Intermediate English, both verbal and written.

Good to have:
— Experience in Jenkins, Bash and Python Scripts;

— eCommerce domain knowledge;

— Experience contributing to Magento.
