Business Development Manager (African markets)

Overview:

SOFTSWISS is hiring a Business Development Manager – Africa to join our Business Development team. You’ll work on expanding our iGaming product portfolio across African markets, contributing to our continued growth and strengthening our position among operators and partners in the region.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, qualification, demo, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline through proactive market mapping, inbound lead management, and conference/industry networking.
  • Develop tailored commercial proposals and presentations aligned to each prospect’s business model and regional requirements.
  • Act as the company’s regional brand ambassador, representing us at key African iGaming and gaming industry events.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (pipeline, contacts, deal stages, activities).
  • Contribute to the development of the Africa go-to-market strategy, pricing approach, and partnership frameworks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, legal, compliance, and technical teams to structure deals and ensure smooth client onboarding.
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail across all commercial documentation, contracts, and client-facing materials.

     

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in the iGaming industry in a B2B sales or business development role (platform or aggregation sales preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of the iGaming ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to build and manage a revenue pipeline independently; good lead generating skills.
  • Experience managing full-cycle sales processes in international markets.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across Europe and Africa as required by business needs.
  • Proficiency in English (C1 or higher).

 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience managing full-cycle sales processes.
  • Direct experience selling into African iGaming markets.
  • Established network with African operators, regulators, or industry stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with African regulatory frameworks and licensing requirements.
  • Proficiency in French (B2 or higher).
