VEC-UA is the official representative of the US-based company VEC in Ukraine, focused on innovative technologies in the field of Building Information Modeling (BIM).

 

We are currently looking for an IT Desktop Support Specialist who will help maintain the stability of our IT infrastructure and provide technical support to company employees.

 

We are open to different working formats โ€” you can work remotely or choose one of our comfortable offices in Lviv, Dnipro, or Kharkiv. All locations are equipped with backup power and stable internet connection to ensure uninterrupted and efficient work under any circumstances.

 

Important: this position requires working evening shifts to cover the US time zone.
Working hours: 17:00 โ€“ 01:00 (Kyiv time)

 

Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support to employees at the U.S. office on issues related to computers, software, and network access
- Install, configure, and maintain software and applications on employee workstations
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and connectivity issues on Windows-based PCs
- Support, troubleshoot, license, and maintain the company's enterprise technology stack, including tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Office 365, Teams, ClickUp
- Manage and resolve IT support tickets in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist users by providing guidance and basic training on company IT systems and tools
- Collaborate with the IT Ops Manager to ensure the stable and secure operation of the IT infrastructure
- Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, system configurations, and network assets for inventory and tracking purposes
- Document user accounts, access permissions, and related system information in accordance with internal IT policies
- Collaborate with the IT Ops Manager to implement and manage zero-touch deployment for US-based devices using Rippling
- Monitor deployment processes and ensure systems and device setups are running smoothly and efficiently
- Install, configure, and maintain antivirus and endpoint protection software
- Manage and monitor backup processes to ensure data can be restored in the event of system failure or data loss

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Fluency in English (B1-B2 level)
- Experience in customer service preferably in English
- Active Directory and Group Policy
- Basic understanding of IP, DNS, VPN and skills in diagnosing network problems
- Security knowledge. Anti-phishing and other cyber threats
- Domain administration skills and DNS configuration settings
- Proficient in Google Workspace and Admin Console. Ability to create new domains, manage users, add and manage licenses, accesses, groups, reset passwords, and troubleshoot. Security policies and phishing investigations
- Slack, Zoom, Office 365, ClickUP administration experience
- Experience with Zero-touch deployment, MDM tools (Jamf, Intune, Kandji, etc.)
- SSO and SaaS administration experience

It would be an advantage if you have:
- Skills in supporting and managing licenses and users of Autodesk and Bluebeam software packages
- Experience with the Rippling cloud platform
