Senior Business Analyst/Proxy Product Owner

We are seeking a qualified Senior Business Analyst / Proxy Product Owner to join an internal company project. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening our Data Platform, enhancing data quality, and driving strategic initiatives through effective requirement gathering, in-depth problem analysis, and close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. This position combines classic business analysis with hands-on work involving data, dashboards, and analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, refine, and prioritize business requirements aligned with strategic objectives
• Work closely with product owners, development teams, and designers to ensure clear understanding and implementation of business requirements
• Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions
• Create detailed documentation including process flows, user stories, and other artifacts to effectively communicate requirements and solution designs
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from underlying real needs
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of BI dashboards and regular analytical reports using Apache Superset, and occasionally Power BI or Tableau
• Create report prototypes and analytical visualizations independently when needed
• Conduct demo sessions for stakeholders and prepare user documentation to facilitate adoption of delivered solutions

Requirements:

• 4–5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst
• Practical experience with BI tools (Superset, Power BI, preferably Tableau)
• Experience in building and presenting dashboards
• Strong understanding of iterative ways of working, especially Scrum
• Upper-Intermediate level of English
• Experience on data-intensive projects involving BI solutions, reporting, and data platform development
• Experience participating in the development of a Data Warehouse / SSA layer
• Experience building BI prototypes or POCs independently before involving developers
• Confident SQL skills
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles
