Trainee Business Analyst

At DICEUS, we are looking for a motivated Trainee Business Analyst who wants to start a career in Business Analysis and gain hands-on experience in software delivery and product development.

This trainee role is designed for candidates at the beginning of their careers who are eager to learn how digital products are built, how requirements are gathered and structured, and how cross-functional teams collaborate to deliver enterprise software solutions.

You will work closely with experienced Business Analysts, developers, and product teams, gaining practical experience in Agile processes, requirements analysis, and documentation while contributing to real projects in the insurance domain.

What You Will Learn

During the trainee program, you will gradually develop practical Business Analysis skills, including:

Business Analysis Fundamentals

• Writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Breaking down features into logical subtasks
• Creating user flows and basic system diagrams
• Preparing functional specifications for individual features
• Maintaining up-to-date documentation and BA artifacts

Tools & Processes

• Working with Jira and Confluence
• Understanding Agile/Scrum principles
• Learning how the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) works in practice
• Supporting the team in managing requirements and documentation

Communication & Collaboration

• Participating in client and internal meetings
• Preparing materials for meetings: notes, questions, diagrams
• Asking clarifying questions to better understand requirements
• Assisting with demo preparation and documentation updates

What We Are Looking For

• Basic understanding of software development processes
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
• Interest in business analysis and IT consulting
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to structure information and work with documentation
• English level Intermediate or higher
