QA Trainee / Junior QA + Technical Writer for Testomat.io

We’re looking for a detail-oriented QA Trainee / Junior QA who is also interested in technical writing and documentation quality.

This role combines product testing and documentation improvement. You will validate new features, perform regression testing, and help us maintain clear, structured documentation for QA teams using Testomat.io.

You’ll play an important role in how users understand and interact with the product — from feature validation to clear usage guides.
 

QA Responsibilities:

• Test new features before release
• Perform manual and regression testing
• Create and maintain test cases
• Identify edge cases and usability issues
• Verify bug fixes
• Report issues clearly with reproducible steps
   

Technical Writing Responsibilities:

• Create documentation pages for new features
• Improve existing documentation on docs.testomat.io
• Write step-by-step user guides
• Add troubleshooting sections
• Maintain consistent terminology across documentation
• Ensure documentation reflects real product behavior

Requirements:

• Strong analytical and logical thinking
• High attention to detail
• Clear written English (B1+)
• Ability to structure information clearly
• Basic understanding of QA concepts (test cases, bug reports)
• Interest in SaaS products and test management tools

Nice to Have

• Commercial experience in QA (internship or junior level)
• Experience writing technical documentation
• Familiarity with:
  • Test management systems
  • CI/CD concepts
  • Automated testing basics
• Experience using Jira, GitHub, or similar tools
• Understanding of how test runs and reports work

Interview Process

Our hiring process consists of three simple steps:

1️⃣ Test Assignment
A combined task that includes a QA part (test design, edge cases, risk analysis) and a technical writing part.

2️⃣ Introductory / Technical Interview
We will discuss your test assignment, talk more about the product, and explain the role in detail.

3️⃣ Final Call with the CEO (15–20 minutes)
A short conversation to get to know each other and align on expectations.
After this call, a final decision regarding the offer will be made.
