What you'll do:
- Design and optimize modern data platforms using Azure Data Lake, Databricks, SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric, and NoSQL.
- Build scalable ETL/ELT workflows and data models for analytics and AI.
- Ensure high performance and reliability across distributed data processing jobs.
- Implement data quality checks, lineage, and observability.
- Apply governance, access controls, and security best practices across data assets.
- Deliver clean, reliable datasets for Power BI and advanced analytics.
- Support data products powering ML and Generative AI workloads.
- Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Partner with architects and analysts; mentor junior engineers.
- Contribute to best practices and continuous platform improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data platform development, or analytics engineering.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Databricks (PySpark/SQL, Delta Lake), Azure, Microsoft Fabric and/or Snowflake
- Proven experience designing and building large‑scale ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of distributed data processing.
- Experience supporting BI environments (Power BI is a plus).
- Familiarity with data quality frameworks, governance, and security best practices.
- Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
