The Job Description

 

We’re seeking an energetic comms specialist to join our Commercial team to help drive engagement amongst one of our key sales segments. As the Travel Agency Communications Manager you’ll play

an important role in building and engaging with our global online travel agency (OTA) and (TMC) community. Reporting into the Chief Distribution Officer with all the main communications channels

at your fingertips you’ll build an online community of TMCs and OTAs & Travel Agencies. You’ll deploy all of your marketing and communications tools and tactics to help drive engagement with

this audience. You’ll manage the process end-to-end from coming up with creative concepts right the way through to campaign delivery. Increasing reach and engagement over time you’ll help drive

tangible ticket sales for our global airline customers.

This role can be based in any one of our hubs in Warsaw, Ukraine . Having a global team and customer base, we provide a highly dynamic and international work environment with daily considerations around different cultures, multiple time zones and various business requirements from our customers. We work in an online agile environment, with teams in multiple locations with

flexible home working options available.

 

Your day to day

 

● You’ll gather insights, market intelligence and great content to include in your campaigns

● Work with the VP OTA & TMC Sales & Head of Customer success and W2 RVPs Airline Distribution to build the marketing and communications strategy for W2

● Generate annual, monthly, weekly, daily communications calendar and deliver on it

● Manage the main communications channels (email, micro-site & W2 Travel Agency SoMe)

● Help to establish a social media presence for our Travel Agency community and closed user group on our W2ticketing.com website

● Partner with colleagues across the business to deliver communications that have a tangible commercial/customer impact

● Own CRM building audiences, segments and targeted campaigns accordingly

● You’ll meet and exceed campaign targets with a focus on engagement and ultimately conversion of new ticket sales

● You’ll identify new channels and experiment with promotions and competitions finding new ways to engage

● You’ll work in partnership with globally recognised airlines and travel brands to manage joint campaigns

● You’ll be responsible for setting up and implementing ways of working and processes for your area where they don’t yet exist

 

Requirements for the role:

 

● Demonstrable ability to plan and lead communications campaigns across a variety of channels deploying different tools and tactics

● Experience building and managing content calendars

● Track record of building relationships with specific audiences and delivering on campaign KPIs

● Experience working in partnership with customers and/or brands for campaigns

● Some knowledge of travel industry, the value chain and different audience groups

● 3+ years in communications or marketing

● Experience working with OTAs, TMCs or in a B2B/SAAS related role is desirable but not essential

● Fluent English. Knowledge of other languages will be a huge benefit
