Junior Project Manager to $1000
Gotoinc is looking for a Junior Project Manager who already has some hands-on experience in project coordination or project management and is ready to deepen their delivery expertise while growing into a strong Project Manager.
Project management is about structure, communication, and continuous learning. At the beginning, many situations may still feel new or complex - and that’s normal. What matters most is your ability to stay organized, take ownership of your work, and keep things moving forward.
You’ll work with design and development teams, clients, and experienced PMs who will support you and share their knowledge. At the same time, we expect you to manage your tasks independently, communicate proactively, and take responsibility for your scope of work.
From pre-sales discussions to delivery and long-term support, you’ll gradually gain exposure to the full lifecycle of software projects.
What will help you succeed:
- 1+ year of experience in project coordination or project management in IT;
- Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher English (written and spoken);
- Good understanding of Agile principles and basic knowledge of common project management tools and practices;
- Understanding of how software projects are estimated and planned; ability to work with the delivery team to prepare estimates and support pre-sales activities;
- Experience independently managing small projects, or leading specific project phases with limited supervision.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients, facilitate discussions, and help align expectations;
- Ability to document decisions, structure information, and keep project documentation organized;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple activities simultaneously;
- Proactive and responsible mindset with the ability to move tasks forward independently.
What you will be responsible for:
- Participate in pre-sales activities: work with the delivery team to prepare estimates, clarify scope, and help shape project proposals;
- Independently manage small and mid-sized projects, taking responsibility for timelines, budget tracking, and team coordination (with support from senior PMs when needed);
- Plan and prioritize project tasks together with the team, monitor progress, and proactively address blockers;
- Build and maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams, ensuring transparency and alignment;
- Track project health, identify potential risks, and escalate or resolve issues in a timely manner;
- Plan team workload and help balance capacity across active projects;
- Maintain clear project documentation and work actively in task-tracking and collaboration tools;
- Contribute to the development of PM department processes by sharing feedback, ideas, and lessons learned.
What we offer:
- Flexible working hours within the Ukrainian time zone;
- Fully remote work;
- 20 vacation days and unlimited days off a year that are fully paid;
- A structured growth approach: a personal development plan and regular feedback to support your professional progress;
- Mentorship and support from the PM department — you’ll work closely with experienced PMs and have people to consult with when challenges arise;
- English-speaking environment for daily communication with clients and the team;
- Transparent company communication — we regularly share company updates, plans, and results;
- A healthy work environment: sabbatical opportunities and access to a corporate psychotherapist;
- No time-tracking software installed on your devices, though some projects may require manual time logging as part of the workflow.
How to apply:
To apply, please submit your CV.
You may also include an optional short (5-10 minute) self-presentation video in English to briefly introduce yourself and share your experience. We consider it a great way for us to get to know you better!
Our hiring process typically includes:
- Recruiter screening - an introductory conversation to learn more about your background and expectations.
- Test task -a short practical assignment to better understand how you approach problems and structure your work.
- Interview with PM Lead - a discussion about your experience, project scenarios, and how you approach project management in practice.
- Final conversation (if needed) - an additional meeting with company leadership.
If this role feels like the right next step for you, we’d be happy to hear from you!
