Instructional Designer $$

DataArt’s Learning & Development department is looking for an Instructional Designer to join our team. We’re looking for someone creative and enthusiastic, committed to continuous development, and comfortable working with people. You enjoy creating self-paced courses, exploring new tools and approaches, and working in an international team to solve complex problems in an out-of-the-box way. Responsibilities

• Run the full course development cycle (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) for self-paced courses.
• Interview subject matter experts and internal teams to clarify learning needs and define outcomes.
• Design course structure.
• Create course materials: text, visuals/infographics, quizzes, short videos, etc.
• Make minor edits in the LMS when needed.
• Plan and implement how course effectiveness will be measured; track results after launch and improve the course based on data and feedback.
• Support course rollout using internal communication channels.
• Build strong working relationships with internal partners and experts.

Requirements

• English: advanced written and spoken (C1+).
• Strong writing skills.
• 1+ year of experience creating self-paced courses.
• Strong visual taste and an understanding of graphic design principles.
• Experience in creating learning videos and visual materials (images, charts, graphics).
• Practical use of GenAI tools for content creation (text, video, images, quizzes, etc.).
• Basic LMS skills (especially with Open edX) and the ability to make minor edits in published courses is a strong plus.
• Experience in teaching, copywriting, or a related field (if you haven't created online courses before).
• Ability to manage several projects at once, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with and internal clients and other colleagues.
• Willingness to learn continuously (new tools, adult learning theory, books, courses, etc.).
