Senior AI Data Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior AI Data Engineer. This is an outstaff position, where you will work as part of the client’s engineering team on building and scaling modern AI-driven data infrastructure.

This role focuses on designing scalable data pipelines, working with Azure data services, and enabling AI/ML and generative AI applications through high-quality data processing and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Python-based data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and enrichment across structured and unstructured sources
• Apply AI-driven and generative AI techniques for data preparation, classification, extraction, and feature engineering
• Integrate data flows with Azure Data Lake, Azure services, and downstream AI/ML or LLM applications

• Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability through testing, monitoring, and pipeline optimization

   

Requirements:

• Senior-level experience in Data Engineering with Python
• Proven experience building and operating data pipelines at scale
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including:
• Azure Data Lake
• Azure data services
• Experience applying AI/ML or generative AI techniques in data processing
• Experience integrating data pipelines with downstream AI/ML/LLM applications
• Strong focus on data quality, performance, and reliability
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional AI and engineering teams

• English level: B2+

• Experience with AWS (in addition to Azure)
