Product Strategist (Embedded / Multi-Client)

We’re hiring a Senior Product Strategist to lead product discovery and product direction across multiple client engagements. You’ll operate in high-ambiguity environments, align senior stakeholders, and turn fragmented inputs into an outcome-driven plan that teams can execute confidently. This is a strategy-heavy role, and you are not expected to run sprints or write detailed user stories—but you are expected to own product decisions, prioritization, and success definition.

 

In our delivery model:

  • Business Analyst owns user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, detailed requirements
  • Project Manager owns sprint planning, scope control, dependencies, release management, delivery reporting, measurement cadence
  • Product Strategist (you) owns discovery, prioritization, roadmap narrative, executive alignment, value trade-offs, and defining success metrics—and you join key checkpoints to keep delivery tied to outcomes

 

What you’ll do

 

Pre-sale strategy & solutioning (core part of the role)

  • Partner with Sales on discovery-led pre-sale: quickly assess product context, risks, and opportunity space
  • Lead or co-lead pre-sale discovery (light audits, stakeholder mapping, landscape scans, high-level diagnosis)
  • Design workshop proposals: agenda, exercises, outputs, and how they translate into delivery
  • Provide strategy inputs for proposals/SOWs: roadmap themes, scope boundaries, assumptions, risks, and outcome metrics
  • Participate in client acceptance/compliance screening as needed (e.g., sensitive industries, privacy/security constraints)

 

Discovery leadership & product direction (post-sale execution)

  • Rapidly onboard into new products: business model, ICP, user journeys, constraints, competitive landscape
  • Run structured discovery: stakeholder interviews, support/ops mining, session-review synthesis, qualitative-insight framing
  • Convert insights into an opportunity backlog (problem-led, impact-sized), not a feature wish list
  • Define initiative goals: North Star + driver metrics + guardrails, baseline assumptions, and success criteria
  • Shape solution options with Design and Solution Architecture: approaches, trade-offs, feasibility and risk

 

Prioritization, roadmap narrative, and decision-making

  • Drive prioritization using a consistent framework (RICE/ICE + qualitative reasoning)
  • Create and maintain roadmap themes with sequencing rationale
  • Lead executive steering to secure decisions, commitments, and scope boundaries (“what we will not do”)
  • Own value-based trade-offs when new requests appear: what to drop, defer, or re-sequence

 

Strategy → delivery handoff + governance

  • Produce crisp, execution-ready handoff packs for BA/PM:

    - problem statement + evidence

    - success metrics and guardrails

    - constraints and assumptions

    - initiative rationale + sequencing

    - decisions log + open questions

  • Join critical checkpoints (milestone reviews, occasional sprint reviews) to protect strategic intent
  • Run strategy-level post-release readouts with PM: interpret results, extract learnings, adjust next bets

 

Internal leadership

  • Establish repeatable discovery playbooks and templates (opportunity map, metric tree, decision log)
  • Mentor BA/PM/Design leads on outcome framing, prioritization hygiene, and stakeholder alignment
  • Contribute to improving agency product practice and pre-sale quality

 

What we’re looking for (must-have)

 

  • 5+ years in Product (strategy-heavy PM / Product Strategy / Consulting) with strong discovery ownership
  • B2B SaaS / FinTech / HealthTech experience
  • Analytics tools familiarity (Amplitude/Mixpanel/GA4) and session tools (Hotjar/FullStory)
  • Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving decisions under ambiguity
  • Strong product thinking: problem framing (JTBD), opportunity mapping, prioritization, sequencing
  • Solid metrics literacy: can define outcome metrics, interpret funnels/cohorts conceptually, set guardrails
  • Excellent facilitation: workshops and steering sessions that end in decisions (not “strategy theater”)
  • Exceptional written communication: concise, decision-ready documents
  • Comfort working across multiple clients/projects with fast context switching
  • English C1+

 

Nice to have

  • Consulting/agency background (multi-client, fast onboarding).
  • Experience running discovery workshops and synthesizing insights into roadmaps.
