The Opportunity

We are looking for a Team Lead – Senior Frontend Engineer to drive the architecture, quality, and evolution of our frontend systems.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will guide frontend development standards, mentor engineers, collaborate closely with Product and UX teams, and deliver high-performance, scalable, and elegant user interfaces that power complex financial workflows.

This role operates in an AI-augmented development environment, where engineers leverage modern AI code agents (such as Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, etc.) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and increase engineering productivity.

What You Will Do

Technical Leadership

-Lead frontend architecture decisions and establish engineering best practices
-Mentor and guide frontend engineers through code reviews and design discussions
-Ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance across the platform
-Drive high-velocity feature development while maintaining high code quality
-Establish and promote effective use of AI code agents and AI-assisted engineering tools across the frontend team

Product & UX Collaboration

-Work closely with product specialists and UX engineers to design and deliver a state-of-the-art UI
-Translate complex financial workflows into intuitive and elegant user experiences
-Maintain consistent UI/UX standards across the platform

Frontend Development

-Develop usable, performant, and maintainable frontend applications
-Contribute to component-based development in ReactJS using Redux/MobX
-Handle API integration and API payload preparation/processing
-Optimize application performance and ensure responsive, data-rich interfaces
-Use AI code assistants and code agents (Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, etc.) to accelerate development, refactoring, debugging, and code quality improvements

Requirements and Qualifications

-5+ years of successful web development experience
-2+ years in a senior or technical leadership capacity
-Strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES5/ES6), CSS, and HTML
-Deep experience with ReactJS; familiarity with Redux/Flux/MobX
-Experience designing scalable frontend architecture
-Strong problem-solving and system design skills
-Proficiency with Git or comparable version control systems
-Experience working in remote SCRUM teams (daily standups, grooming, sprint planning)
-Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools or AI code agents (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, Copilot, etc.) to improve development velocity and code quality
-Ability to effectively guide teams in adopting AI-augmented engineering workflows
-Strong ownership mindset and ability to lead by example
-English proficiency: Beginner or higher

Nice to Have

-Strong sense of frontend design and UX
-Experience with Webpack, Gulp, or similar build tools
-Familiarity with SASS/SCSS
-Experience in data visualization using ECharts, D3.js, or similar
-Knowledge of Google Maps API or Mapbox
-Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest
-Familiarity with analytics and data-driven applications
-Experience with AI-assisted coding environments and AI engineering workflows
-Experience in high-velocity feature development environments
