Business Operations Analyst (Data-Driven)

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Business & Operations Analyst to drive measurable efficiency across processes, systems, and reporting. You’ll uncover operational bottlenecks, automate workflows, and build actionable dashboards that guide leadership decisions. The ideal candidate blends analytical rigor (SQL/Python/Tableau) with operational tooling (CRM, contact center, CLM) and strong stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Map core business processes and implement improvements to reduce manual effort and cycle times.
  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards (e.g., throughput, SLA adherence, backlog health, cost-to-serve) in Tableau/Excel.
  • Analyze multi-system data (CRM, finance, call center, CLM) to identify inefficiencies and recommend fixes.
  • Lead/coordinate tool rollouts or enhancements (e.g., CLM, CRM, contact center): requirements, UAT, adoption, training.
  • Partner with Ops/Finance/COO to support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly management reporting.
  • Own data quality routines and cross-system reconciliations; define governance and documentation.
  • Establish monitoring and alerting for process health and SLA breaches.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years in Business Operations / Operations Analytics / Finance Operations.
  • Solid SQL and Excel; working Python for data manipulation/automation.
  • BI development experience (Tableau strongly preferred).
  • Hands-on with CRM and/or operational platforms (e.g., Zoho CRM/Books, Salesforce, RingCentral, CLM tools).
  • Demonstrated process improvement/automation outcomes with quantified impact.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and ability to influence across functions.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with ContractPodAI (or other CLM), SAP (Ariba), Jira/Confluence.
  • BPMN/UML familiarity (e.g., Enterprise Architect).
  • Exposure to program or budget ownership.
  • Knowledge of RevOps or customer operations metrics.

Success Metrics (example KPIs)

  • 20–40% reduction in manual effort within key workflows.
  • 15–30% cycle-time reduction for target processes.
  • Dashboard adoption by leadership with defined usage cadence.
  • Improved data accuracy (e.g., <2% discrepancy across systems).
  • On-time/on-budget delivery of tool rollouts.
