Functional Analyst

On behalf of our Client from Belgium, Mobilunity is looking for a Functional Analyst.

Our Client connects the worlds of show jumping, dressage and eventing through reliable, verified and intelligent data. We combine pedigree information, sports results and predictive analytics in one powerful ecosystem.

As a Functional Analyst, you are the strategic link between:

• IT team
• Management & product
• Breeders, riders and B2B partners

You translate market needs into clear functional specifications and ensure that complex data solutions are built in a user-friendly and scalable way. You understand both the technical side of software development and the practicalities of the equestrian world.

Responsibilities:

• Developing functional analyses for new features (predictive breeding tools, dashboards, API extensions, AI functionalities)
• Documenting user flows and requirements
• Building bridges between business and developers
• Contributing ideas for UX improvements
• Optimising data structures and processes
• Translating roadmaps into concrete sprint tasks
• Collecting feedback from users and structuring it for IT
• Contributing ideas for scalable B2B data solutions

Required Skills and Experience:

• You have experience as a functional analyst, product owner or business analyst
• You understand how databases, APIs and software architecture work
• You can translate technical information into understandable language
• You think in a process-oriented and structured way
• You dare to ask critical questions
• You have an affinity with the equestrian world (a big plus)
• You speak English
