REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of UI/UX design experience;
• Proven experience in B2B SaaS products;
• Experience designing complex, process-driven platforms;
• Strong experience with admin and end-user product structures, design systems and component libraries;
• Experience conducting user research and interviews;
• Ability to lead and build a design function;
• Strong portfolio demonstrating simplification of complex workflows;
• Experience collaborating closely with Product in discovery phases;
• Very good English communication skills (B2 or higher);
• German language proficiency (for direct communication with the users);

Nice to have

• Experience improving or rebuilding design systems;
• Experience working with complex regulatory or finance-related products;
• Experience in companies known for strong UX standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and develop the design function within the company;
• Improve navigation, usability, and discoverability of platform features;
• Simplify complex workflows into intuitive user experiences;
• Create and refine user journey maps for both: Admin users (desktop)& End users (mobile/PWA);
• Conduct qualitative user interviews (especially with German-speaking admins);
• Analyze quantitative user feedback and behavioral data;
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Engineering;
• Improve and evolve the existing design system (Material UI-based);
• Define and maintain UI/UX standards and best practices;
• Introduce structured UX research processes;
• Design micro-interactions and improve overall product polish;
• Translate complex tax-related processes into clear UI solutions.
