Middle/Senior Drupal Developer

Cortance is looking for a Drupal Developer (Middle/Senior) who genuinely enjoys working with Drupal — not just knows it, but actually cares about doing things the right way. If you're the kind of person who gets frustrated by messy code and takes pride in clean architecture, we'd love to talk.

Requirements:

- 4+ years (middle) or 6+ years (senior) of hands-on Drupal development — Drupal 9/10 is your comfort zone;

- Strong PHP (7.4+/8.x) skills with a solid understanding of OOP and design patterns — you write code that others enjoy reading;

- Understanding Drupal's internals: Entity API, Plugin system, Form API, Routing, Hooks and Events — not just how to use them, but why they work the way they do;

- Experience with contrib modules like Views, Paragraphs, Webform, and friends;

- Experience with MySQL/MariaDB and ability to write a decent query;

- B2+ English — enough to communicate clearly with the team, ask the right questions, and push back when something doesn't make sense;

Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain custom Drupal modules and themes that you'd be comfortable showing in your portfolio;

- Take part in architectural decisions — your opinion matters here;

- Integrate third-party services and APIs when the project calls for it;

- Keep an eye on performance — caching, query optimization, profiling;

- Keep up with Drupal updates and security advisories so nothing catches us off guard;

- Work in sprints, communicate progress honestly, and flag blockers early.
