UniversePay is an international high-risk payment infrastructure provider for B2B merchants. We work with complex and regulated verticals, helping clients build stable processing setups, optimize approval ratios, and scale transaction volumes globally.
We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong hunter mindset to identify and attract high-risk B2B merchants.
This role focuses on outbound acquisition and qualification, not account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage high-risk B2B merchants across global markets
- Establish contact with Owners, CEOs, and Heads of Payments
- Conduct initial qualification (vertical, processing volumes, geographies, risk profile)
- Schedule qualified meetings and hand over opportunities to the BD/Account team
- Maintain accurate CRM records and manage pipeline hygiene
- Execute structured follow-ups to move prospects forward
Requirements
- Proven experience in fintech, payments, or high-risk environments
- Strong understanding of PSP models, acquiring, rolling reserves, and chargebacks
- Demonstrated success in outbound sales and cold outreach
- Ability to communicate effectively with C-level decision-makers
- Results-driven mindset with strong ownership
