SQL Developer

We are looking for an experienced SQL Developer with deep, practical expertise in MS SQL Server, with a focus on query optimization, performance tuning, and the design of efficient database schemas. A key part of this role is reviewing, analyzing, and improving existing SQL and schema structures on the OLTP systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with MS SQL Server as a SQL Developer.
• Demonstrated practical experience in SQL query optimization.
• Strong skills in analyzing execution plans, designing indexing strategies, and tuning performance.
• Strong ability to write clean code in accordance with the project's technical requirements.
• Solid knowledge of OLTP database design principles and best practices.
• Ability to present real examples of performance improvements or schema redesigns you have implemented.

Core Responsibilities

• Create database objects/write stored procedures.
• Analyze and optimize slow SQL queries in MS SQL Server (joins, subqueries, etc.).
• Work with execution plans, indexes, statistics, and partitioning to enhance performance.
• Demonstrates the ability to clearly understand and effectively analyze business requirements.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure efficient SQL and schema use across the platform.
• Propose structural, architectural, and performance-oriented improvements.
