About the Role
We’re looking for a Human Resources Manager who will take ownership of our people strategy and help us build a strong, healthy, and high-performing culture.
This is not just an administrative HR role. We’re looking for someone who can actively boost and shape our company culture, improve team engagement, support leadership, and ensure we attract and retain the right talent.
You’ll work closely with leadership to align people strategy with company growth — helping us scale while protecting what makes our team strong.
Your mission is to make TechUnit a place where talented people thrive, grow, and feel proud to contribute.
What You’ll Be Doing
Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes (from role definition to onboarding).
- Help refine job descriptions and hiring processes.
- Improve candidate experience and employer branding.
Build talent pipelines for future growth.
Culture & Engagement
- Develop initiatives that strengthen company culture and team connection (especially in a remote setup).
- Create systems that reinforce our values, collaboration, and accountability.
- Organize feedback loops, engagement surveys, and team rituals.
- Proactively identify morale or culture risks and address them early.
Support leaders in building strong, motivated teams.
Performance & Development
- Implement performance review frameworks and growth plans.
- Help managers set clear expectations and feedback processes.
- Design professional development pathways.
Promote a learning-oriented environment.
Operations & HR Structure
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintain clear HR documentation and policies.
- Ensure smooth internal communication and organizational clarity.
Monitor team satisfaction, retention, and capacity planning.
Strategic HR Partnership
- Act as a trusted partner to leadership.
- Align people strategy with company goals and growth plans.
Help scale processes without losing agility or culture.
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You
- You genuinely care about people — and can spot tension in a ClickUp thread before it becomes a problem.
- You believe culture is something you design intentionally, not something that “just happens.”
- You can have difficult conversations without turning them into dramatic Netflix episodes.
- You’re structured enough to build systems… but human enough to know people aren’t spreadsheets.
- You don’t wait for permission to improve things, if you see friction, you fix it.
- You’re comfortable giving feedback to both juniors and founders (yes, including us 😄).
- You know the difference between “fun culture” and “healthy culture.”
- You’re calm when things get messy, and you bring clarity instead of panic.
- You like building processes from scratch (instead of inheriting a 200-page HR manual).
You believe retention is built daily, not during exit interviews.
- Bonus points if:
- You enjoy building rituals, systems, and frameworks that actually stick.
- You’ve worked in a fast-moving startup or agency and survived (and maybe even enjoyed it).
- You are able to post fun meme on Friday Afternoon in our internal chans (we all do)
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
- You won’t be the “HR police.” You’ll be the culture architect. Big difference.
- If you have a great idea, we won’t say “let’s circle back next quarter.” We’ll probably say “let’s try it next week.”
- No corporate maze. No 17-step approval processes. No mysterious “global HR policy” PDFs from 2009.
- You’ll work directly with decision-makers — meaning real influence, not symbolic responsibility.
- We move fast, but not chaotically (okay… rarely chaotically 😄).
- You’ll help build a remote culture that people actually enjoy — not just tolerate.
- No awkward forced fun. If we do team rituals, they’ll make sense.
- Feedback is normal here. Drama is not.
- You’ll see the impact of your work immediately — in team morale, performance, and growth.
And yes — you’ll finally get to build the kind of HR environment you always wished existed.
Our Hiring Process
- Share your CV and a short note about your HR experience.
- Intro call to align expectations.
- Practical task — culture or HR improvement scenario.
- Call with leadership.
