Commercial Director (Head of Sales and Marketing) โ€” FinTech / Crypto Banking

About the role

We are looking for a senior commercial leader to build and scale our go-to-market function from scratch. This role combines Sales + Marketing leadership at early growth stage: you will design the strategy, build the operating system (funnels, CRM, playbooks), and hire the team to execute.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Own and execute the commercial growth strategy (initially B2B, later expanding into B2C).
  • Build the full sales engine: ICP definition, outreach strategy, pipeline management, sales playbooks, pricing inputs.
  • Build the marketing foundation: positioning, messaging, channel strategy, lead generation plan (in-house + vendors).
  • Implement and manage CRM, reporting, dashboards and forecasting.
  • Define KPIs/OKRs and ensure predictable growth.
  • Recruit, onboard, and lead Sales/BD and Marketing team members and/or agencies.
  • Develop partnerships and distribution channels (law firms, corporate service providers, traders/pro-trading communities, real estate & cross-border businesses).
  • Work cross-functionally with Product/Tech/Compliance to ensure market-fit and scalable onboarding.

     

Ideal candidate profile

  • Proven experience scaling revenue in fintech / neobank / payments / crypto.
  • Track record building sales and marketing processes from zero to repeatable growth.
  • Strong B2B partnerships and enterprise/SMB sales experience.
  • Hands-on leader: can design the strategy and also execute early-stage tasks.
  • Comfortable operating in regulated environments (licenses, compliance mindset).
  • Excellent English; other languages are a plus.
