Website / Tech Manager (Web Ops + Technical SEO Owner)

Why this role exists

Website changes, fixes, and new page launches are slower than they should be, technical issues create hidden risks, and ownership of site health, tracking, and SEO is fragmented or reactive.

This role exists to own and stabilize the entire web and tech layer by managing websites, integrations, performance, and technical SEO end-to-end, so the team can move faster, launch confidently, and scale growth without breaking things.

 

What this person will do

 

  • Own the full operational health of all the Company websites (uptime, speed, structure, fixes)
  • Build and manage pages, content uploads, and site updates quickly and reliably
  • Implement and maintain tracking, pixels, tags, and basic integrations across tools and platforms
  • Own technical SEO including indexing, redirects, metadata, site structure, and issue resolution
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems proactively before they impact users or growth

     

After 1 months:

  • Website updates and new pages are shipped quickly without regressions or errors
  • Tracking and integrations are consistently reliable and trusted by Growth and Analytics
  • Fewer urgent website or tech-related issues escalate to the team

     

After 2 months:

  • Website performance, speed, and technical SEO health are visibly improved and stable
  • The Growth team can launch experiments, campaigns, and content without tech bottlenecks
  • This role operates as a clear single owner of the β€œtech side,” reducing risk and rework

     

 

What we need from this person (requirements)

Must-have

  • 3+ years of experience managing websites in a hands-on, operational role
    Strong experience with CMS platforms (preferably Shopify or similar)
  • Proven ability to handle site maintenance, troubleshooting, and deployments independently
  • Solid understanding of technical SEO fundamentals and best practices
  • High reliability, organization, and ownership mindset

     

Nice-to-have

  • Experience managing multiple websites or brands simultaneously
  • Familiarity with performance optimization, page speed, and Core Web Vitals
  • Experience implementing analytics, pixels, and marketing integrations
  • Background in startups or fast-moving environments
