Business Development Specialist (Mid-High Level)
Renderer Studios is a fast-growing, full-cycle AAA art services partner delivering concept, 3D modelling, animation and mocap clean-up for next-gen engines. We work with English-speaking PMs to minimise miscommunication and to keep complex art pipelines on track. Our talent has supported global publishers, including Tencent and ZeniMax Online Studios, and we operate from a Singapore HQ with international remote teams and clients worldwide.
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Business Development Specialist to join our global studio.
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing external art resources, establishing strong partnerships with art vendors, and ensuring smooth execution of outsourcing projects. You will act as a key liaison between internal art teams and external art providers to support high-quality production delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and expand external art resources, including studios, freelancers, and art vendors for game projects.
- Lead business negotiations and partnership communications with art vendors and creative partners.
- Manage outsourcing project workflows including contract negotiation, signing, execution, progress tracking, and payment coordination.
- Organize and maintain business documentation such as agreements, NDAs, service records, and partnership archives.
- Support daily business operations, including supplier inquiries, quote evaluations, and coordination of internal approvals.
Qualifications
- Game Industry Insight: Familiar with the internet game market and mainstream game titles; a true passion for games.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; able to present professionally and persuasively.
- Team Collaboration: Positive work attitude, detail-oriented, patient, and a team player with strong coordination skills.
- Responsibility & Project Sensitivity: Highly responsible with strong project coordination and organisational awareness.
- Professional Demeanor: Polished appearance, confident communication, and ability to travel for business meetings if required.
Nice to have
- Excellent English (spoken and written); able to write cold outreach and sales emails that get replies.
- Good understanding of how game art is produced (2D/3D, characters, environments, animation pipelines, mocap clean-up) and why studios outsource at different stages. Devoted Studios.
- Comfortable working with time zone differences and in a remote, multicultural setup.
CRM discipline (HubSpot/Pipedrive/Sheet-based is fine) and basic sales reporting.
