Technical Project Manager

Remote | 8 AM–5 PM PST

Company: Lime Vizio

Product: High-volume e-commerce (US / Canada)
Type: Full-time
Time zone: US (PST overlap required)

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager (IT) to own technology delivery for a high-volume eCommerce platform serving the US & Canada market.

This role is focused on delivery predictability, scope control, and production stability, not just sprint coordination.

You will be responsible for ensuring that releases are delivered on time, without scope chaos, rework, or hidden technical debt — directly impacting conversion, operational reliability, and cost per order.

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery roadmap and release predictability (≥90% on-time milestones).
  • Control scope: ensure 100% of changes are logged and approved before execution.
  • Turn business requests into dev-ready specs with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Run sprint planning, standups, demos, and retros with structured execution.
  • Track dependencies and manage critical path across teams.
  • Identify risks early and drive fast decisions.
  • Define go/no-go criteria, rollout and rollback plans.
  • Reduce rework and emergency fixes (target ≤15% team capacity).
  • Ensure technical debt is logged, owned, and prioritized.
  • Maintain a single source of truth: scope, owners, dates, risks.
  • Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Growth, and Operations.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager / IT PM.
  • Experience in eCommerce, marketplace, logistics, or transactional systems.
  • Strong Agile execution (Scrum / Kanban).
  • Experience coordinating production releases.
  • Ability to discuss APIs, services, queues, and data models.
  • Experience with Jira / ClickUp and structured backlog management.
  • Understanding of CI/CD basics and release pipelines.
  • Strong ownership mindset and independent decision-making.
  • English — confident working level.
  • Availability 8 AM–5 PM Pacific Time.

Nice to have

  • WordPress / WooCommerce at scale.
  • Experience with Node.js, Python jobs, Vue.
  • PostgreSQL basics.
  • Experience with observability, alerts, dashboards, and incident post-mortems.
  • Experience working with distributed teams across time zones.

What we offer

  • Real ownership over delivery system, not task coordination.
  • Clear measurable success metrics.
  • Direct impact on revenue, cost control, and operational predictability.
  • Remote work with US-market product.
  • Fast decision-making, low bureaucracy.
