Fractional SEO Product Lead (Global OTA)

Halalbooking is looking for a senior, technically exceptional SEO leader to take ownership of organic growth across a large, multilingual hotel booking platform.

We are not looking for a content coordinator or an SEO manager who follows checklists. We are looking for someone who understands search at scale, sees structural opportunities others miss and can both design strategy and execute hands-on.

This will start as a fractional role with the potential to move to full-time based on impact and fit.

 

What you will own

  • End-to-end SEO strategy for a large-scale hotel booking OTA
  • Technical SEO for a dynamic, inventory-driven platform
  • Indexation and crawl optimisation at scale
  • Faceted navigation, internal linking systems and scalable landing page architecture
  • Multilingual SEO across multiple markets
  • SEO roadmap definition together with product and engineering
  • Adaptation to AI-driven search, LLM visibility and evolving SERP behaviour
  • Building automation and AI-enhanced SEO workflows where relevant
  • Identifying structural growth levers beyond traditional keyword targeting

     

What we expect

  • 6+ years of hands-on SEO experience
  • Proven experience with large catalogue-driven websites (travel, OTA, ecommerce, classifieds or similar scale)
  • Deep technical SEO knowledge (log analysis, rendering, structured data, CWV, large-scale internal linking)
  • Clear understanding of how AI search and LLMs are changing discovery
  • Product-level thinking and ability to prioritise impact
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with large datasets
  • Ability to operate independently and lead from expertise

     

Strong advantages

  • Experience in travel or OTA
  • Experience managing multilingual SEO at scale
  • Experience building internal SEO tools, automation or AI agents
  • Knowledge of French, German, Turkish or Arabic
