Senior PHP Developer

FAVBET Tech develops software that is used by millions of players around the world for the international company FAVBET Entertainment.
We develop innovations in the field of gambling and betting through a complex multi-component platform which is capable to withstand enormous loads and provide a unique experience for players.
FAVBET Tech does not organize and conduct gambling on its platform. Its main focus is software development.

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer. 

Responsibilities:
 

• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules 
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges 
• Actively participate in quality assurance activities including design and code reviews, unit testing, defect fixes, operational readiness 
• Experience in software development based on common agile application development methodologies, TDD/Scrum 
• Familiarity with source control (Git), bug tracking systems (JIRA), build and dependency management systems (Composer), continuous integration (GitLab), packaging and deployment (Docker) 

Requirements:
 

•  6+ years of experience in development of production applications using PHP and PostgreSQL 
•  Experience with PHP MVC frameworks 
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system 
• Web service integration using technologies such as XML, SOAP, REST 
• Excellent relational database skills with PostgreSQL 
• Experience with building restful JSON web services 
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (Laravel, Symfony) 
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP services 
• Write clean, well-designed, Object Oriented PHP code following industry best practices 
• Deliver accurate project requirement and timeline estimates, providing regular feedback and consistently meet project deadlines 
• Thorough knowledge of database architecture and management. 
• Design applications and database structures for performance and scalability 
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application 
• Work with other developers and project managers to solve new and existing technical challenges
• Manage development projects from inception to completion autonomously and independently
• Participating and improving development processes and tools for other development teams
