Power BI Engineer
Since 2001, FutureLog has been creating and developing digital procure-to-pay solutions for the hospitality and gastronomy industries. We are a world-class procurement management platform serving over 10,000 clients across 20+ countries, delivering near real-time reporting with complex data models and advanced permission structures.
To strengthen our data and reporting capabilities, we are looking for an experienced Power BI Engineer to support and further develop our high-load Power BI platform.
This role combines report development, production support, data engineering, and close collaboration with product and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI reports and dashboards
- Enhance and optimize existing reports for performance and scalability
- Support and troubleshoot high-load reporting environments
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines
- Develop and support ETL processes and complex data models
- Work closely with Product Managers and Client Support Managers to manage the support queue and align with the product roadmap
- Maintain client expectations through Jira tickets and roadmap updates
- Communicate report status, improvements, and delivery plans to engineering and business stakeholders
- Contribute to structured L1/L2/L3 support processes
- Provide effort estimations and contribute to architecture and solution design
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Power BI report creation, Microsoft Fabric, development, and maintenance
- Advanced knowledge of DAX for complex calculations, measures, and performance optimization
- Strong experience with Power Query (M language) for data transformation and modeling
- Deep understanding of the Power BI ecosystem and toolkits (Power BI Service, Dataflows, Gateways, Deployment Pipelines, Fabric integration, etc.)
- Experience designing and supporting high-load data pipelines
- Solid knowledge of MS SQL for data retrieval and optimization
- Experience with Azure infrastructure
- Strong experience designing and supporting ETL processes and complex data models
- Advanced understanding of permission models and access management
- Experience working with Jira backlog management
- Experience contributing to structured L1/L2/L3 support processes
- Ability to provide estimations and contribute to solution design (including Fabric-driven solutions)
- Fluent English (written and verbal communication skills are essential)
