Python Developer

We are looking for a Python Developer to join an interesting software development project in the field of Cybersecurity. Our client’s platform offers Identity Insights drives real-time, multi-contextual digital forensics to protect new account opening workflows and expose fake accounts already in a customer database.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial experience with Python
• 2+ Experience with distributed, scalable microservices using FastAPI (Blacksheep is a plus)
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming patterns.
• Familiar with AWS infrastructure (boto3, S3 buckets, etc)
• Proficiency in writing unit tests with pytest.
• Understanding of logging, monitoring, and profiling for performance optimization and bottleneck detection
• Strong Git and version control best practices.
• English — Intermediate+
   

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a robust and scalable microservice.
• Write unit and integration tests as part of regular development
• Work with internal services via REST/gRPC APIs, ensuring reliability, security, and performance
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor, profile, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and production issues using logging, metrics, and tracing tools
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, sharing best practices

• Maintain clear technical documentation for services, APIs, and internal tooling.
