Senior PHP (Symfony) Developer

Requirements:

• Strong experience with PHP 8.3/8.4
• Proficiency with Symfony 6.4 / 7.x
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL 13+
• Practical experience with Redis
• Experience with RabbitMQ
• Experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, EC2, Auto Scaling, Secrets Manager)
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and Docker
• Practical experience with PHPStan, PSR-12, ECS
• Experience with PHPUnit and Foundry

Will be a plus:

• Experience with microservice or event-driven architectures;
• Understanding of DDD, modular architectures, and clean code principles;
• Experience with high-load and high-concurrency systems;
• Experience working with feature flags;
• Familiarity with FrankenPHP, Caddy, Nginx + FPM;
• Experience in fintech, payments, or financial products.

Responsibilities:

• Work at all stages of the product development lifecycle;
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using PHP and Symfony;
• Build and optimize APIs and background processing workflows;
• Ensure high code quality through testing, refactoring, and code reviews;
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of existing solutions;
• Participate in architectural decisions and technology choices;
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and product stakeholders;
• Share knowledge and best practices within the team.
