Business Account Manager

We are a Performa HR agency, and we're excited to find a strong Business Account Manager for one of our clients. Our client is an international fintech company operating in the iGaming payments space. The company runs a reverse marketplace model, connecting B2B merchants with traders and processing large-scale transaction flows across India, with active expansion into South and Southeast Asia.

 

Key responsibilities and your contribution:

 

  • Manage and develop an active portfolio of merchants in a high-risk fintech environment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and relationship owner after client onboarding.
  • Drive revenue growth, retention, and portfolio stability.
  • Monitor daily performance metrics including Volume, Success Rate, Pay-in/Pay-out flows, and Net Margin.
  • Proactively identify and address performance drops or conversion issues.
  • Lead communication with merchants regarding performance, optimization, and growth opportunities.
  • Negotiate commercial terms while protecting portfolio margin.
  • Increase traffic share and expand cooperation through new payment methods and scaling initiatives.
  • Monitor chargeback ratios and traffic quality, escalating risks when necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, TAM, Risk, and Finance teams to ensure seamless merchant operations.

 

Your qualifications:

 

  • 2โ€“3+ years of experience in FinTech, Payment Processing, Crypto, or Affiliate industries.
  • Proven experience working with high-risk merchants.
  • Experience managing portfolios with significant transaction volumes.
  • Strong understanding of Success Rate and its direct impact on revenue and profitability.
  • Solid understanding of P2P / alternative processing models.
  • Basic understanding of unit economics in payment environments.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and act proactively.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent English (B2+).

 

 Nice to have:

 

  • Experience working with Indian market (UPI, P2P flows).
  • Background in iGaming or affiliate traffic environments.
  • Experience handling competitive pressure and commercial negotiations.
  • Understanding of fraud risks and chargeback management in high-risk verticals.
