We’re looking for a Team Lead for Key Account Management - someone who thrives in dynamic high-risk markets, loves mentoring and growing a team, and is ready to shape the success of SolveX’s international merchant operations.
Your Mission
As Team Lead, you will not only manage strategic merchant relationships but also lead, mentor, and grow the Key Account Management team. You will ensure smooth operations, optimize processes, and drive SolveX’s expansion into new markets through your team’s performance.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of Key Account Managers across multiple GEOs.
- Oversee strategic merchant relationships, including negotiations on payment methods, GEO expansion, and traffic distribution.
- Define team targets, KPIs, and performance metrics; ensure execution and growth.
- Monitor payment flows, analyze data, and identify optimization opportunities for the team, including routing optimization.
- Collaborate with internal teams (IT, Legal, Finance) on integrations, escalations, and issue resolution.
- Maintain and oversee client documentation (contracts, amendments, expansions).
- Support team in pricing negotiations, up-selling, and cross-selling initiatives.
- Deliver regular performance reports to senior management and provide insights for strategic decisions.
Drive continuous process improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience: 4+ years in Key Account Management or Payments, including 1+ year in a leadership/mentoring role.
Industry Knowledge: CIS payments background with hands-on exposure to gambling, betting, iGaming, or other high-risk industries.
Skills & Competencies:
- Solid knowledge of payment products (P2P, e-commerce, APMs).
- Strong analytical skills with Excel / BI tools / Google Analytics (a plus).
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Advanced negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and capable of making strategic decisions.
- Languages: English (B1+), Ukrainian (B2–C1), Russian (preferred).
