Backend Engineer (PHP, Node.js, AWS)

We’re hiring a senior backend engineer to modernize a large PHP monolith into a service-oriented architecture and improve scalability, reliability, and delivery speed. This is a long-term project starting in March.

Key requirements

• Backend experience: expert PHP + strong Node.js
• Hands-on experience with enterprise systems and monolith decomposition
• AWS (Lambda, API Gateway)
• API design: REST and/or GraphQL
• English B2+

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute gradual monolith-to-services migration
• Define service boundaries, API contracts, and integration patterns
• Build and maintain services (Node.js / PHP as needed) and ensure production stability
