Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for a long-term international project within a global enterprise environment.

This is a full-time, remote role that combines hands-on technical expertise with architectural oversight and vendor governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and govern external infrastructure providers (SLA compliance, service quality)
• Design and improve infrastructure architecture solutions
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned platform services
• Translate business requirements into infrastructure designs
• Contribute to service strategy and architectural reviews
• Ensure alignment with global initiatives and ITIL processes
• Identify, manage, and escalate risks across workstreams
• Maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors
• Prepare status reports, rollout plans, and documentation

Requirements:

• 8–10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering
• Strong expertise in SBC (Citrix, Microsoft Terminal Services)
• Strong knowledge of Web Infrastructure (Apache, IIS, Tomcat)
• Experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure public cloud environments
•  English: C1 level
• Proven vendor governance and external provider management experience
• Architectural mindset combined with hands-on technical background
• Experience in enterprise-scale, globally distributed environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Availability for full-time remote engagement within the EU
