We are currently looking for a proactive Senior Ruby Engineer to join a global payments squad for a major American digital subscription service.
 

📝 About the project & conditions The project is a world-renowned e-book and audiobook platform with millions of users. You will work on a high-scale payments and billing ecosystem that handles authorization, settlements, and dunning processes globally. This is an outstaffing arrangement, with the potential to transition to an in-house model.
 

Format: Full-time, Long-term Outstaff. 
Schedule: US business-hours overlap (EST to PST). 
Focus: Ruby on Rails, Payment Service Providers (PSPs), AWS.
 

😉 What we expect from you 
💎 5+ years of backend experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails for high-scale systems. 
💳 Payments domain expertise, including integrations with PSPs like Stripe, Braintree, or Adyen. 
☁️ 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS (building, operating, and monitoring). 
🌍 Upper-Intermediate English or higher for seamless communication with the US team. 
🚀 Strong ownership and the ability to drive complex features from design to production.
 

🌟 Would be a big plus 
📊 Experience with Databricks for analytics or observability. 🤖 Hands-on use of AI productivity tools (Cursor, ChatGPT, or Copilot).
