Senior Business Analyst (Regulated Data and Veeva Vault Integration) to $5500

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with 7+ years of experience and a strong background in life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated industries.

You will lead requirements gathering, process analysis, and stakeholder alignment for complex regulated data systems (including Veeva Vault environments). Your work will ensure business needs are clearly documented and translated into actionable technical requirements while maintaining full regulatory compliance.

This role requires strong analytical thinking, regulatory knowledge, and exceptional communication skills to effectively bridge business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Requirements Gathering & Analysis

• Elicit, document, and validate business requirements for regulated systems (Veeva Vault, RIM, Clinical, QA, etc.)
• Analyze current business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements
• Define functional specifications, workflows, use cases, and acceptance criteria
• Ensure complete traceability between requirements and system implementation

🔹 Data & Reporting Oversight

• Collaborate with data engineering teams on data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
• Maintain metadata and ensure downstream analytics traceability
• Support creation of dashboards, reports, and KPIs for data-driven decision-making

🔹 Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and compliance officers
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and alignment sessions
• Clearly communicate changes while ensuring regulatory and business standards are met

🔹 Governance & Compliance

• Ensure all documented requirements meet regulatory standards
• Support audit preparation and documentation
• Maintain compliance traceability across systems and data workflows

Required Experience & Skills

•  7+ years of Business Analysis experience
• Mandatory experience in life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated industries
•  Strong experience with regulated document management systems (preferably Veeva Vault)
•  Excellent English communication skills (C1–C2)
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work remotely with EST overlap
