As part of our growth strategy, Gamzix is launching its own dedicated Slot Game Studio, focused on building high-quality, scalable slot products from the ground up.
 

To lead this new studio, we are looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Studio, who will take full ownership of studio setup, team building, product strategy, and delivery.
 

Responsibilities
 

Studio & team building

• Build the slot game studio from scratch and manage its growth
• Form and lead cross-functional teams: development, art, design, QA, and sound
• Participate in budget planning and allocation for the studio
• Hire the technical team with a strong focus on soft skills and cultural fit
• Build and scale the art team (Art Director, 2D Artists, Animator, Sound Designer)
• Delegate responsibilities and structure the studio as it grows
   

Product & slot game strategy

• Work closely with shareholders to define the overall studio and product strategy
• Define the slot game portfolio: game types, complexity, quality level, and delivery timelines
• Participate in UX/UI creation
• Own slot game math, balancing, and core gameplay decisions
• Create and maintain Game Design Documents (GDD)
• Design promo and meta-game modules (Free Rounds, Tournaments, Achievements, etc.)
• Act as a key stakeholder in Back-Office development
• Analyze live game performance using analytics and data insights
   

Processes & delivery

• Build studio-level development and release processes from scratch
• Establish efficient collaboration between all studio functions
• Set up and optimize production pipelines for slot game development
• Control delivery timelines, quality, and stability of released products
   

Leadership & people management

• Define goals, priorities, and KPIs for the studio
• Monitor execution and ensure predictable delivery
• Conduct 1-on-1s, team meetings, and performance reviews
• Mentor team members and support professional growth
   

Integrations & partnerships

• Own integration requirements with platforms and partners
• Create and maintain integration roadmaps
• Control and monitor execution of integrations and releases
   

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Head of Studio / Head of Game Development role within slot game development
• Deep hands-on experience in full-cycle slot game production
• Proven experience building a game studio or slot development team from scratch
• Strong leadership background with experience scaling teams
• Excellent communication skills, including conflict resolution
• Strong understanding of iGaming product development and live operations
• English level: B2 or higher
