Communication and Lead Development Manager

We are looking for a Communication & Lead Development Manager to support business development and professional communication for a Swiss consulting company operating in the fields of Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Solutions.

This role focuses on high-quality, targeted outreach and relationship development. It is designed for professionals who prefer structured, thoughtful communication over mass campaigns and scripted messaging.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for initiating and maintaining professional communication with potential clients and partners, primarily senior decision-makers. The role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build trust-based relationships over time.

Responsibilities:
 

Networking & Outreach

  • Identifying and establishing professional contacts via LinkedIn and email
  • Conducting targeted outreach with a focus on relevance and quality
     

Relationship Development

  • Maintaining ongoing professional conversations with potential clients
  • Managing follow-ups and qualifying interest
  • Developing long-term, trust-based relationships
     

Communication & Presentation Support

  • Supporting business presentations and introductory calls
  • Managing external communication on behalf of the company
     

Internal Collaboration

  • Transferring qualified leads to the expert and delivery teams
  • Coordinating closely with internal stakeholders
     

Ideal Candidate Profile:
 

Languages

  • German β€” Intermediate level (confident written and spoken communication)
  • English β€” Upper-Intermediate or higher (for internal collaboration)
     

Communication Skills

  • Clear, professional communication style
  • Ability to conduct meaningful business dialogue without reliance on rigid scripts
     

Experience & Approach

  • Understanding of lead generation and business development fundamentals
  • Willingness to grow into a broader communication and relationship management role
  • Interest in long-term partnerships rather than transactional outreach
