Junior PHP Developer

What You Will Do

  • Assisting senior developers in coding and testing PHP applications.
  • Learning and implementing best practices in PHP development.
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve project goals.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues in PHP code.
  • Participating in code reviews and making improvements based on feedback.
  • Contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Assisting in the integration of third-party APIs and services.
  • Testing and optimizing application performance.
  • Implement UI for the admin panel.
  • Participating in brainstorming sessions for innovative feature development.

    What We Are Looking For
  • Basic knowledge of PHP and understanding of web development principles.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
  • Willingness to learn Symfony and apply best practices in development.
  • Basic understanding of working with databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
  • Basic experience with Git.
  • Ability to work in a team and openness to feedback.
  • Basic level of English.
  • Attention to detail, responsibility, and a proactive approach to learning.

    Nice-to-have
  • Experience with Symfony and its components (Routing, Doctrine, Twig).
  • Working with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React, jQuery).
  • Basic unit testing in PHP.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix and the command line.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows.
  • Comfortable with Git branching, pull requests, and merging.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or any small projects/internships in PHP development.
