Release Manager
We are looking for a Release Manager to join our teams!
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in IT Release Management
- Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
- Experience with Agile is a significant plus
- Excellent communication skills and interaction with stakeholders at various levels
- Product mindset, proactivity
- Experience working with CI/CD is desirable
- Technical background in Release Engineering/DevOps/SRE is a significant plus
- English level: Intermediate+
Responsibilities:
- Playing a key role as the Release Representative in release communications and decision-making
- Escalating issues, incidents, and cross-release dependencies
- Creating and maintaining up-to-date release schedules
- Collecting release artifacts
- Full-cycle incident management
- Setting up and tracking release metrics
- Managing changes and risks
- Maintaining transparency of the release process in distributed environment
Technical Stack:
- Experience with the Release Management Lifecycle: from planning to release and post-release activities
- CI/CD Pipelines: integration, build, deployment, versioning, automation
- SDLC & Agile Methodologies: Scrum/Kanban in the context of release cadences, sprint-based delivery, feature (code) freeze
- Jira & Confluence: managing versions and fix-versions, dashboards, documenting release processes
- Dependency & Environment Management: coordinating cross-release dependencies, managing staging/production environments
- Metrics & Reporting: release metrics (success rate, MTTR, deployment frequency, rollback policy)
- DevOps / SRE Fundamentals: automated deployment, monitoring, SRE
- Planning & Prioritization: working with parallel releases, timelines, resources, dependencies
