Energy Trading Business Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for an Energy Trading Business Analyst to work on new and existing software projects in the energy trading domain. The role focuses on requirements analysis, close collaboration with development teams, and supporting stable production operations.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business and functional requirements
• Prepare BRDs, functional specifications, and use cases
• Translate business needs into clear requirements for development teams
• Collaborate with traders, business stakeholders, and engineers
• Support testing activities and UAT
• Analyze production incidents and support resolution
• Identify and suggest process improvements

Requirements

• Experience as a Business Analyst in Energy Trading / ETRM
• Strong understanding of trading and risk management processes
• Allegro ETRM experience — strong plus
• Experience working in Agile / SDLC environments
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Fluent English
