Middle Full-Stack Developer (Python / WordPress)
You will join a growing product team working on a subscription-based investment research platform.
The role combines Python backend development, AI-assisted data workflows, and custom WordPress development to deliver high-quality, data-rich content to paying subscribers.
This position is ideal for a mid-level engineer who enjoys working across the stack, shipping real features, and growing within a stable, long-term project.

The product is a digital research platform that delivers professional-grade hedge fund and value-investing insights at accessible pricing.
The platform includes:
Financial data ingestion and transformation
AI-powered summarization and querying
A modern WordPress frontend with gated premium content
Core platform areas:
Investor letters & research notes
Conference and market intelligence coverage
Quarterly equity research publications
Membership system with tiered subscriptions and premium access
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and improve WordPress performance, security, caching, and access control
Develop and support ETL pipelines for financial datasets using Python and PostgreSQL
Build and maintain RESTful APIs (FastAPI or similar)
Develop custom WordPress plugins, themes, and blocks
Automate data ingestion, transformation, and publishing workflows
Integrate AI / LLM-based features for summarization and data querying
Collaborate with product stakeholders to enhance user-facing functionality
Requirements
3+ years of professional software development experience
Strong experience with WordPress (custom plugins, REST API usage, performance optimization)
Solid Python background (ETL, APIs, FastAPI or similar frameworks)
Good knowledge of SQL / PostgreSQL
Experience with AWS (Lambda or basic serverless usage is sufficient)
Working knowledge of JavaScript for dynamic UI elements (tables, charts)
Practical experience integrating AI / LLM APIs
English B2+ with availability for partial EST overlap
Nice to Have
Experience with financial or market data platforms
Docker or cloud-native workflows
Familiarity with investment, hedge fund, or value-investing concepts
