AI Creative Strategist (Advertising)

We are helping one of our product partners build a core AI-driven advertising platform and are looking for an AI Creative Strategist to join their internal team. The product is an autonomous advertising system where AI agents create, launch, and optimize campaigns at scale. The long-term goal is to move beyond rule-based decisions toward a system that learns and improves performance over time.

 

Creative strategy is one of the highest-leverage inputs in the product: a single improvement in prompt logic can affect thousands of campaigns instantly. While the system can already generate ads autonomously, it needs clear creative signals and hypotheses to guide learning and optimization. Your work provides this signal layer and directly feeds into the ML optimization loop.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design, test, and iterate prompt logic for AI agents across strategy, copy, keywords, compliance, visuals, and optimization
  • Continuously analyze competitor activity using spy tools and translate winning patterns into structured prompts
  • Formulate and test multiple creative hypotheses weekly and evaluate their impact on performance metrics
  • Analyze campaign performance data to identify which creative angles and patterns drive sustainable ROI
  • Build and maintain a prompt library of validated creative patterns, structured by vertical and geography
  • Work closely with the ML Engineer to align creative signals with prediction models, reward functions, and optimization logic
     

Must-have requirements

  • Degree in a quantitative or analytical field such as Mathematics, Economics, or Marketing with a strong analytics focus
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in digital advertising (native ads, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, etc.) with a deep understanding of CPC, CTR, ROMI, and RPC
  • AI-native working style with daily use of LLMs and generative tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney, or similar
  • High hypothesis velocity with a focus on systematic testing rather than isolated execution
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to review large datasets and extract creative patterns that differentiate high-performing campaigns
  • Ability to design multi-step prompt chains where the output of one agent becomes the input for another

Nice to have

  • Proficiency with competitive intelligence and spy tools such as AdPlexity, Anstrex, or SpyFu
  • Experience writing LLM prompts in production environments, including system prompts and few-shot prompting
  • Basic SQL or data querying skills
  • Familiarity with tracking platforms such as Binom or Voluum
     

Language requirements
English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher. Code, prompts, and data are the primary working languages. No client-facing communication is required.
