Fractional Head of UA / UA Lead
About the role:
We’re looking for an A-player who is motivated to scaling performance marketing for apps and get involved in promoting Applica’s services.
We're looking for a person who is:
- Ambitious to scale our ads budget to +$800k/ month
- Experienced in managing and scaling large budgets for B2C subscription apps
- Able to apply UA strategies for different categories and product stages
- Curious enough to analyse and optimise our approach and processes within the UA department
- Creative, curious, and proactive - love experimenting to unlock new growth
Skills and experience:
- Track record of managing large-scale UA budgets profitably
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Media Buying or User Acquisition for apps
- Deep knowledge of attribution platforms (e.g., AppsFlyer, Singular) and ad networks
- Sharp understanding of the evolving privacy landscape (SKAN, GAID/IDFA, etc.)
- Strong creative instincts and experience guiding ad creative strategy
- Operate efficiently in Google Sheets / BI
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency (minimum B2 level)
- Prior agency experience (nice to have)
Key Tasks:
- Responsible and accountable for Paid UA accounts performance
- Build growth strategy and manage campaigns on the biggest paid advertising platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, Apple Ads, etc.)
- Driving results against key KPIs: CPA, ROAS
- Develop data-driven strategies to test, learn, and iterate at speed
- Build KPIs, dashboards, and processes to guide performance
- Lead discussions and brainstorms of new ideas for different apps’ niches
- Collaborate with Creative production and ASO teams’ to build stand-out campaigns and growth loops
- Build relationship with clients of each assigned project
- Look for new platforms and strategies to scale acquisition
