Trainee JavaScript (Angular) Engineer

Department/Project Description

We develop a POS, plan management and reporting Car Wash solution that allows providing attended (employee) and unattended (customer) tunnel car washing service.

Designated team focuses on Payment and Subscription logic for POS platform

There are two labs:

- One in the USA
- One in Ukraine (Lviv)

Hardware Solution includes several points of sale(POS), different sensors, readers and cameras, payment terminals, servers, and automatic gates.

The solution supports both USA and Canadian markets. Ukrainian teams develop a PWA(web) application and a hybrid web application (.Net & Angular) that operates on hardware & cloud and supports full customer flow: from customer recognition or account creation to sale & directing their car to a tunnel, reporting, etc. All embedded development is on the client's side.

The client has huge plans for 2026 so you have a chance to become a part of the big success.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Javascript, Typescript and Angular
  • Basic understanding of software-oriented architecture, micro-services, etc
  • Good analytical skills, debugging, and troubleshooting
  • Intermediate English skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Teamwork
  • Be proactive
  • Will to work and learn

Would be plus experience in:

  • OOP & Functional programming
  • Unit tests engineering

  • Be ready to learn and develop on intense & complex project
  • Cross-team communication and cooperation;
  • Work in a dynamic Agile/Scrum-based environment;
  • Work closely with the embedded team and customer integrations team to successfully bring the solution to production;
  • Be a part of Globallogic team of successful professionals;

  • Performing requirements analysis, application development, product configuration, unit, and system testing, and production deployment within the framework of the infrastructure;

 

Flow

True SCRUM. Story points, Product owner, and Sprints include mandatory daily stand-ups, grooming, planning, demo, and retro sessions.

2-week sprints, releases strictly every 4 weeks, updates on demand.

Only agreed and paid overtime. Limited control from the Management team. Teams are fully self-manageable. No rushing or delivering work ASAP.

Limited communication and control from the client side.
