Senior Business Analyst for Energy domain program (IRC287639)

Description

A program of projects within the Energy domain. We will work on various applications covering generation control, distribution control, transmission control, and service crews control. The implementation area of these products is very high-scale (e.g. country-wide systems).
 

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Business analyst
• Knowledge of SDLC and software development methodologies
• Ability to create clear requirements documentation (English writing, diagrams, UML, BPMN)
• Knowledge of system analysis, business process analysis and optimization
• Strong attention to details, strong logic skills, ability to identify corner cases and provide the solution for the product
• Good understanding of UX and design
• Knowledge in practices and techniques of business analysis, requirements gathering and solutions assessment
• Understanding and ability to identify the customer need
• Communication skills demonstrating a proactive approach at all levels with Developers, QA and other Stakeholders
• Good interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills
• Good negotiation skills
• Upper intermediate English (written and verbal)

Nice to have:
 

• Experience with Energy domain
• Experience working in an enterprise environment with multiple stakeholders
• Technical background – understanding of modern programming concepts, database design principles, etc

• Experience in pre-sales activities as BA, experience taking part in or leading workshops

   

Job responsibilities

• Work closely with product, architecture, development, and testing teams to understand how the system currently works, how data moves between components, and how business logic is implemented while functionality is being migrated from third-party middleware into the company’s own product.
• Document product behavior, data structures, and workflows in a clear and structured way to support development, testing and onboarding. The client provides high-level goals, but detailed requirements are mainly based on existing system behavior and insights from developers who analyze the legacy code.
